There has been an impression for some time that healthy food is tasteless, bland, even off-putting. We all know a salad is better for us than a hamburger, but because it has more flavor, we go for the burger, or so goes the idea, anyway. But there is no excuse that this has to be the case. Any food will become more exciting with the addition of a bit of spice.
People will always be keen to point out that even though a grilled chicken breast may contain less calories from a fried chicken outlet than a family bucket, it doesn't taste as nice. And the truth of the matter, though this is a matter of opinion, is that expectations matter.
